mostly this book about  living for periods of time in solitary confinement in this particular case was for 94 days.  I have not read the book nor seen the movie but I'm sure that I would love both.

You would be shocked at how much I know about the subject of solitary confinement.

"Talk of the Nation"

I caught the last 15 minutes of Talk of the Nation on NPR today.  They were talking about life in Supermax.  I've been researching the subject of solitary confinement for 7 years now and this story covers that subject.  The effects both physically and mentally of persons who live in solitary confinement.  This was a fascinating presentation on how America handles for better or for worse, it's criminals.  Please check it out.
