Most of my 3 to 4 dozen diagnoses are untreated, I've never told doctors, they don't ever acknowledge how seriously ill I am.
I.e. my throat is violently sore, my entire mouth tongue and throat are on burning fire, pins and needles, chronically since about 2000.
What if your whole body was in excruciating pain all the time? You're too weak to stand.
Who wants a life of running from doc. to doc. especially when you're in poverty? A complete waste.
I don't talk about my lyme disease I don't talk about morgellon or Hashimoto with the doctors there's nothing that they can do and I don't want them to put me on any more pills
But this is a symptom of had for many years my throat deep down into my throat hurts when I talk it's on fire pins and needles my tongue is on fire pins and needles my throat G everything is on fire pins and needles, constant throbbing.
Thank goodness for the internet that is a big reason why I know what's going on with my body

Have had for 10plus years. Who needs a formal diagnosis you know it when you have it it's called burning mouth syndrome and even drinking cold drinks doesn't help even eating cold yogurt doesn't help there's a tiny bit of relief while you're sucking on ice chips but beyond that it's just they're all the time along with a horrible horrible taste in my mouth that never goes away
Now that I'm on Facebook I realize that there are millions and millions of Americans like me with invisible disability that you would never know they were seriously ill unless they told you!
It's been a problem for years and I just found out that it actually has a name burning mouth syndrome. Need i say more? It's really horrible and you're always thinking about it either you're burning or you're feeling pins and needles. I also have reason to believe that I have Hashimoto's disease which is a thyroid problem. I don't mention the overwhelming majority of issues affecting my quality of life to my doctor because I don't honestly believe that she can do very much to help me but I will mention burning mouth syndrome and I will tell her that I need an MRI of my right shoulder and right arm because the pain is so unbearable and I can't do much at all with my right arm
