I haven't seen the movie but I'm watching an advertisement for it I'm going to paraphrase what Elizabeth Taylor said she plays a character named Leslie and this movie is described as the first movie ever with socially conscious feminist female
She walks into the room where her husband and then friends are talking the moment she comes in they are completely silent, I'm going to paraphrase what she says next
"I grew up in Baltimore I can handle whatever you men have to say so go ahead and talk!"
