I LOVE this song, The Logical Song, by Roger Hodgson,co-founder of Supertramp. The lyrics are just as relevant today as when the song was released. I saw Roger's show this week in Rhode Island and can honestly say it's the best concert I have ever been to - and I've seen everyone. I am still on my "Roger" high and smiling. I can't wait to see him again. He is currently on his Breakfast in America tour and is in the midst of his largest US tour in 30 years - 34 dates at last count! Road trip is coming up.
What a thrill it was for me to see my favorite artist perform his classics such as Dreamer, Give a Little Bit, Breakfast in America, Take the Long Way Home, School, It's Raining Again, Fool's Overture, of course, The Logical Song, and more! Many people don't realize that although Roger and Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote and composed separately with each singing their own respective songs.
Give yourself a gift and see Roger Hodgson in concert. He was truly the voice, soul, and sprit of Supertramp, as evident from the raving reviews he is receiving from media and fans alike from around the globe. Check out tour details at http://www.facebook.com/RogerHodgsonOfficial and here is a video from Roger's Official YouTube Channel where he is performing The Logical Song. Enjoy!
I was born in June, 1963 in Washington, D.C. My b/mother spent roughly the last 5 months of her pregnancy at the Florence Crittenton: "Home for Unwed Mothers" I was almost immediately adopted into a very abusive Baltimore home in 63.
In 1994, my common law marriage broke up while I was living in Melbourne,AUS. I fell homeless for the first time. I didn't break that cycle until 4/2013.
(For a true sense of context, I highly encourage you to start reading at the beginning; April 1, 2007!)
While homeless (or "housed" in extremely toxic and unsafe situations) I endured chronic hunger and even Dr. diagnosed starvation.
I've been a victim of countless felony crimes since 1983.
I've been partially disabled since 1994 and fully disabled since about 2002; after contracting lyme disease.
In April 2011 I was forced to flee 2,230 miles to evade my stalker of six years.
One of my dreams, is to donate my entire handwritten story to Hollywood.
